Hello! :)
I am Anusree Manamkottu. Computer engineering was like solving a complex puzzle – satisfying when everything clicked into place, I thrived on the logic, it fuelled my mind, but felt a bit confined, like a single train track leading to a predetermined destination.
Design, however, became my open road. It's a vast landscape where creativity roams free, and I'm now the conductor, shaping the journey for users. It's about crafting experiences that are not just functional, but truly resonate, and that's what excites me most about design.
Between my passions for delicious food, travel, and art, I find myself whipping up meals, exploring new horizons, and expressing myself through painting. Oh, and I can't forget my extensive houseplant collection of over 30 – they're like my leafy family!
This was my first job during my engineering studies, where I volunteered as a math teacher and also engaged the children in art activities. I absolutely loved this experience, spending every weekend at a shelter home in Pune. Teaching these young kids, some as young as 3 years old, involved not only math lessons but also making time for creative art.
Beyond the academic lessons, I learned about the power of art in communication and expression. The art sessions became a way for the kids to express themselves, share their stories, and build confidence. Witnessing their growth and enthusiasm was a powerful reminder of the impact of dedicated mentorship and community support.
Great Times with Great People 🤩
This volunteer experience was a pivotal moment in my life, shaping my perspective on education and community service. It instilled in me a lifelong commitment to helping others and reinforced my belief in the transformative power of education and creativity.

Mphasis | 2018-19
My first job after completing my engineering degree was with Mphasis, where I worked on a project for the client Alight, USA. This role marked the beginning of my professional journey and was a significant stepping stone in my career.
Here, I was part of a dynamic team composed of fellow freshers, all of us embarking on our first professional roles. Working alongside a group of first-job colleagues brought a unique energy and the workplace. We were all eager to learn, grow, and make our mark in the industry.
We supported each other through the learning curve, shared knowledge, and celebrated successes together. This environment fostered a strong sense of teamwork and mutual growth.
The lessons I learned and the experiences I gained during this period continue to shape my professional journey and drive my passion for delivering impactful solutions
After my initial professional stint at Mphasis, I decided to pursue a master's degree in computing and moved to Scotland. To support myself during my studies, I joined Amazon as a warehouse associate in Edinburgh.
Starting at the line, I quickly moved into a problem-solving role. In my problem-solving role, I developed a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in processing orders and returns while scrutinising customer order histories for patterns. I honed my analytical thinking skills by investigating return issues and identifying potential fraud through detailed analysis.
Balancing part-time work with my demanding master's program taught me valuable time management skills, and the fast-paced environment required me to quickly learn and adjust to new processes and systems, enhancing my adaptability.
